Why Buturi ?

We have chosen Buturi because we have a head-start here; we have an entrée directly to the elders of the village through Mrs. Judith Smith, a Luo, now a British citizen, whose mother lives in the village of Buturi.

Mrs Oluoch is struggling, as the matriarch of the village with the impact of poverty, aids and draught.
We hope that the experience of the Buturi project can be used as a pilot scheme to address the poverty in this large geographical area.
